GOD WORKS PURPOSEFULLY

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 KJV

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, you are saved and called to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. Only God knows the process you will take to fulfill His purpose.
He orders every details of your life to work out His purpose.

God leads you step by step, unfolding things continually, bringing you to fit into His perfect plans for your life.
Just like the case of Joseph in the scripture.

When you are going through some challenges in life, in the form of trials or persecutions, you may not understand what God wants to make out of it.

Whatever you are going through now, God is with you, working out things for your good and fulfilling His purpose through you.
But we must know that God works out things for the good of those who love Him, who listen and obey His instruction and follow His leadings in their life.

God always turns trial, challenges and ugly situations to great testimony for those that love Him as He did for Joseph.

Every divine vehicle carrying Joseph was a transport of destiny adventures from one trial to the other. Joseph didn’t understand but he was following God whole heartedly trusting Him to work things out for him to fulfill his destiny.

Relax, be patient, love and serve God with all your heart, decide to believe every God’s word, confess it constantly, trust and have faith in God. He is with you in that situation, and He is working out things for your own good to fulfill His purpose for your life. He will turn those things happening around you to a wonderful testimony and make you a great success.
Stay blessed.

Confession

I am highly favoured.
I am so blessed.

STAY ALERT

STAY ALERT

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8 NLT

There is a lot of evil in our world today.
It is very important we stay alert and spiritually sensitive as we live on this earth doing one thing or other.

God instruct us in His Word to always be vigilant and watchful against the tricks, deceits and manipulations of the devil. He doesn’t want us to be ignorant of his devices.

You mustn’t be a carefree Christian.
You must be spiritually sharp and smart so as to pick up signals of the enemy’s trick and resist him.

To resist the devil you must submit yourself to God. You cannot resist the devil if you don’t submit to God. To submit to God is to submit to His word in obedience.

Again, ensure that you are truly and genuinely converted and born again before the devil can flee when you resist him.

One of the key areas you need to be vigilant and watchful of, is your thought life. The primary way the enemy penetrates into your life is by bringing suggestions to your mind that doesn’t line up with God’s word.

The scripture says,
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

When the enemy can get you to think wrong, he would get you to speak wrong and act wrong. Whenever you discover yourself thinking negative, just know that’s the devil trying to get to you. You have to take your stand and resist him vehemently.
Receive grace in Jesus name Amen.

Furthermore, be alert, watchful and sensitive wherever you go; on the way, in your work place or as a businessman, in your environment, school, neighborhood, etc.
Don’t be loose, carefree or take things for granted. Observe people and things quietly. Do not be careless, be watchful and careful.

Jesus says that we should watch and pray. Don’t be emotional, be wise.
Quickly discern and read the handwriting on the wall before you act.Listen to what God is saying.*

Remember, the devil our arch- enemy is walking about to devour. You will not be a victim, you will NEVER be devoured.
Stay alert, live in obedient to God’s instructions in your life; be committed and faithful in serving the LORD in Jesus name Amen.*

Study, Meditate and obey God’s word, stay in the place of prayer. Then, you can successfully resist the devil and live a VICTORIOUS Christiain life. Receive Greater Grace in Jesus name Amen.
Live spiritually sensitive.
Stay alert.
Stay Blessed.

Confession
I am a child of God.
The Grace of God is upon me.
I can NEVER be devoured.
I am alert in the spirit, I submit to God, I resist the devil and he flees.
I live a VICTORIOUS Christiain life.
I am VICTORIOUS forever.
I am so blessed.
Blessed forever.

Prayer
Father in Heaven, I thank you for your Word, l receive Greater Grace to always be ALERT, VIGILANT, WATCHFUL, SPIRITUALLY SENSITIVE, SMART AND SHARP in Jesus Name. Amen

Let’s Jump while we still have the Strength.

Put a frog into a vessel filled with water and start heating the water. As the temperature of the water begins to rise, the frog adjusts its body temperature accordingly. The frog keeps adjusting its body temperature with the increasing temperature of the water. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog cannot adjust anymore. At this point the frog decides to jump out. The frog tries to jump but it is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature. Very soon the frog dies. What killed the frog? Think about it! I know many of us will say the boiling water. But the truth about what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when to jump out. We all need to adjust with people and situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust and when we need to move on. There are times when we need to face the situation and take appropriate actions. If we allow people to exploit us physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally they will continue to do so. Let us decide when to jump! Let’s jump while we still have the strength.

POISON THAT KILLS MEN

Once upon a time a beautiful girl got tired of her marriage life and wanted to murder her spouse.

One morning she ran to her mother and say to her ” mother, I am tired of my husband I can no longer support his nonsense. I want to kill him but I am afraid Law of the land will hold me responsible, can you please help me mother?”

The mother answered:

  • Yes my daughter I can help you, but, there is a little task attached.

The daughter asked “what task? I am willing and ready to assume any task attached in order to get him out”

OK, said the mother,

1..You will have to make peace with him, so that no one will suspect you when he is dead.

2.. You will have to beautify yourself in order to look young and attractive to him

3.. You have to take good care of him and be very nice and appreciative to him

4.. You have to be patient, loving and less jealous, have more listening ears, be more respectful and obedient

  1. Spend your money for him and don’t get angry even when he rto give you money for whatever
  2. Don’t raise your voice against but encourage Peace and love so that you will never be suspected when he must have died.

Can you do all of that?
Asked the mother.
Yes i can. She replied
OK, said the mother.

Take this powder and pour a bit in his every day meal, it will slowly kill him.

After 30 days the lady came back to her mother and said.

Mother, I have no intention of killing my husband again. As of now I have grown to love him because he has completely changed, he is now a very sweet husband than I ever imagined.

What can i do to stop the poison from killing him?

Please help me mother.

She pleaded in a sorrowful tone.

The mother answered;
Do not worry my daughter. What I gave you the other day was just Tumeric Powder. It will never kill him.

In reality, you were the poison that was slowly killing your husband with tension and dispassion.

It was when you started loving, honouring and cherishing him that you saw him change to a nice and sweet husband.

Men are not really wicked, but our way of relating with them determines their responses and feelings towards us.

Women if you can only show respect, dedication, love, care and commitment to your husband he will 100% be there for you. ❤️

GOD GIVES US ALL THINGS TO ENJOY

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely gives us all things?
Romans 8:32 KJV

God gave up His only Son for the redemption of mankind.
The sacrifice of Jesus is the highest sacrifice ever.

If God can give Jesus His only begotten Son to die for you, what else can He not do for you?

God is asking you a question through our text. He is asking you: what is that challenge, issue, mountain, that is bigger than Jesus?

God is telling you right now that with Jesus Christ in your life, you have everything.
Jesus in your life is greater, stronger, bigger, powerful, higher and mightier than anything you can ever think of in this world. No wonder God says, how can He not freely give us all things?

As much as you abide in Christ and in His word, God is giving you freely all things to enjoy. The word ‘ FREELY ‘ shows no struggle, payment, or terms is attached to the all things God is giving us.

Your blessings comes freely, no struggle, as you trust God to direct you to get all the things you need in life.

God gives us salvation, love, joy, peace, health, prosperity, favour, victory, protection, security, wealth, riches and other good things freely to enjoy because of Jesus Christ. The Lordship of God provided ONLY good. No evil attachment.

of all these good things God has given us to enjoy.
The scripture says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:3 KJV

Divine knowledge and faith in God’s Word is essential to actualise all these good things God freely gives you to enjoy.

Why Did Jesus Have to Die?

Why Did Jesus Have to Die?

Of all the ways Jesus could have died for our sins, why the cruelest, most horrible form of torture ever devised? When we understand the answer, we’ll never again need to wonder if God loves us.

…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree, but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear, not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

Acts 10:38–41

Why did Jesus have to die?

Let’s begin by remembering why He had to die at all.

Because God is holy and heaven is perfect, the debt of our sins must be paid before we can enter His paradise. Since sin removes us from God, the only source of eternal life, the consequence of sin is death. Thus, someone must die to pay our debt.

Hebrews 4:15 But since we’re all sinners, we cannot pay each other’s debt. Only a sinless person could do that. And Jesus is the only sinless person who has ever lived (Hebrews 4:15).

Thus, He had to die to pay the debt we owed in order for us to be forgiven and given eternal life with God.

But why did Jesus have to die in the way He did? The Jews executed by stoning, as we see with Stephen; the Romans executed their citizens by beheading, as with Paul.

Why did Jesus have to suffer the cruelest, most horrific form of death ever devised?

Jesus’ death fulfilled prophecy

The Word of God predicted the manner of Jesus’ death a thousand years before it happened.

In Psalm 22, David wrote these words: “Dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet” (Psalm 22:16). Note that he made this statement five centuries before the Persians invented crucifixion.

So, Jesus died on the cross to fulfill prophecy. But why did the Spirit author this prophecy?

Why did the Father decide that His Son must die in this way? If He simply needed to die for our sins, the Lord could have predicted His death by stoning, beheading, or any number of other means. Why this?

The nature of crucifixion

Research has revealed much about the manner of Jesus’ death.

We know that He was scourged, a whipping that tore flesh from bones and caused many victims to die.

The victim was then taken to the place of crucifixion. This was intended to shame the victim as he was paraded through the streets, stripped of most of his clothes, and executed in such a public and violent way.

Since Passover was coming, the Jews wanted Jesus to die as quickly as possible. Thus, spikes were driven through His wrists into the cross and through His heels. The body weight of the victim crushed his lungs, forcing him to pull himself up on his crucified wrists to breathe. Eventually, he lost use of his arms and had to push upon his crucified heels.

The Romans would then break the legs of the victim, who would die shortly of suffocation. But Jesus chose to die before the Romans took His life from Him.

Crucifixion is so horrific that it has been outlawed in nearly every country on earth. Why did Jesus die in this way?

Why Jesus chose the cross

I can think of only one reason the Father and the Son chose the cross: to show us their solidarity with our most horrific, indescribable pain and shame.

There is no physical pain we can feel that is worse than His. No pain from disease or disaster, war or criminal attack or accident. The worst that can happen to us is no worse than what happened to Him.

There is no shame we can feel that is worse than His. We know the shame of our individual sins; He took the shame of the entire human race on Himself. Then He demonstrated that fact by dying in the most shameful manner possible – paraded through the streets, stripped, and executed before His mother, His best friend, and His enemies. The Romans most often crucified people naked to intensify the raw shame of their public display.

None of this was necessary for Jesus to understand our pain and shame. He was and is omniscient. He did not learn something about us at Calvary that He did not know beforehand.

But we learned something about Him at Calvary we did not know beforehand. We now know that the God of the universe is not a Zeus atop Mt. Olympus, impervious to our needs; He is not an Allah, removed from our sufferings; He is not an impersonal force like the Hindu Brahman; He is not simply a judge of right and wrong as some in Judaism picture Him.

The Son felt the worst we can feel. His Father watched His Son suffer in such pain and shame, proving that He understands all we feel for those we love.

The bottom line: Jesus chose the cross to show us that He will help us bear our cross, whatever it is.

Conclusion

Name your suffering or shame. Bring it to Calvary. Know that Jesus died to pay your debt, to forgive your sin, to bear your cross. Trust your need to His grace, your pain to His love.

Pray this week:

Lord Jesus, by Your death on the cross, I know God’s love. Teach me never to doubt it again.

Why do you think David wrote about the crucifixion a thousand years beforehand? A caring volunteer my have some useful insight for reflection:

TALK OF HIS WONDERFUL WORKS

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.Psalm 105:2 KJV

God wants you to focus on His goodness.
He wants you to remember His good deeds and wonderful works in your life.

Pay attention to the goodness of God: He is glad when you talk about His wondrous works in your life. The scripture says,
They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
Psalm 145:7 KJV

When you always talk about the wonders and goodness of God in your life and family, it will make you to always be thankful to God. You will naturally be singing and praising God consciously or unconsciously. Your life will be full of thanksgiving.

In another place, God’s word says, Make known His deeds among the people. Don’t hide what God is doing in your life and family. Always testify of the goodness and wonders of God to people. The name of God is glorified as you do this.

Again, the WORD says, Remember His marvelous works that He has done and His wonders. God wants you to always remember what He has done for you. So that you will thank Him and give Him all the glory He deserves.

Only one leper out of the ten came to thank Jesus after they were healed. He was asked, where are the rest ? When you forget the wonders and goodness of God, inner worry, anxiety, complain, murmuring can set in.
Joy and peace of mind will be far from you.

When you always remember the wonders of God, His goodness, the things He has done for you and your family, the victories in the past, His miraculous deeds, His healing power, deliverances, His miracles upon miracles in your life, His provisions and a lot, you will serve God always with a grateful and joyful heart.

Remembering His wonders, miracles and what He has done for you will make you focus on the goodness of God. It will make you to trust Him in any situation or circumstances. You will not be afraid or have doubt. The past victories gives you faith for the present victory.
There will be no room for worries, complain and murmuring.

You serve God with a grateful heart, full of joy and peace. You are blessed.
Stay Blessed

The Blood of the Lamb

“A rattlesnake bit one of my sheep in the face about a week ago. Deadliest snake that lives around here. The sheep’s face swelled up and hurt her terribly.

But the old rattlesnake didn’t know the kind of blood that flows through the sheep. Anti-venom is most often made from sheep’s blood. The sheep swelled for about 2 days but the blood of the lamb destroyed the venom of the serpent.

I was worried but the sheep didn’t care. She kept on eating, kept on drinking and kept on climbing because she knew she was alright.

Often the serpents of this life will reach out and bite us. They inject their poison into us but they cannot overcome the Blood of the Lamb of God that washes away the sin of the world and the sting of death. Don’t worry about the serpent or his bite, just make sure that the Lamb’s Blood is flowing through your veins.”

STAY IN THE WORD

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
John 15:4 KJV

Abide means to stay or dwell as it is in this context.
Jesus wants you to stay in Him if you must grow, be fruitful and productive in your Christian life.

When you abide in Christ, He abides in you and abiding in Christ is staying in His Word.
It is dwelling and living in obedience to God’s Word. This is what determines your fruitfulness and success as a child of God.

Staying in God’s Word is having faith and trust in the Word. It’s acting on the Word,
which is the result of study and meditation, because what you meditate is your action.

Any word you meditate stays with you and may eventually comes to reality. This is a major reason the scripture instructs us to meditate on God’s Word daily.
So, abiding in Christ is daily meditation on God’s Word.

Staying in the Word also determines answers to your prayer request to God.
When the Word abides in you, your prayers will be according to God’s Word. You pray scripturally and not amiss. Abiding in the Word is the condition for answers to prayer.
Jesus says,
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
John 15:7 KJV

Staying in the Word will help you to pray correctly according to God’s Will and the Word of God is the Will of God for us.
The scripture says,
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
1 John 5:14 KJV

Abide in Christ, stay in the Word and your life will be full of God. You will be bearing much fruit continuously in all ramification and your life will forever glorify God.
*Receive Grace in Jesus name Amen.
Stay Blessed.
